My attendance at TESOL Convention in Philadelphia from the 28th of March till the 1st of April.

Full of enthusiasm and energy that I took part, as a first time attendee, in the TESOL convention from the 28th to the 31st of March 2012, in Philadelphia. This attendance meant and means a lot to my future because it has perfectly been an eye opener. Being at the TESOL helped me to a very large extent on so many levels: personal, interpersonal and professional. I really cannot claim that these skills are clear cut, they are rather overlapping.
Over this short span, I acquired new skills. Personally, this occasion was a wondrous occasion to share thoughts, worries, experiences with people of the field from all corners of the world. In fact, it has boosted my ability to reflect and learn from the teachers’ trial and error. Furthermore, I am more and more committed to engage in a critical assessment of my own beliefs and applications in the teaching domain. So many burning questions are boiling up inside of me!
